ASSISTANT MANAGER – MODERN TRADE
A leading FMCG organization is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and results-oriented professional to strengthen its Modern Trade business while driving sales growth, customer relationships and in-store execution across key retail accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key Modern Trade customers to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute account plans, promotional activities and joint business initiatives with major retail partners.
- Monitor sales performance, product availability, pricing and in-store execution to maximize market presence.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional agreements and annual business plans with key accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure effective execution of customer strategies.
- Analyze sales trends, customer performance and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, business reviews, and performance presentations for management.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Business Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with strong exposure to Modern Trade within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in managing key retail accounts and achieving sales growth targets.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple key accounts.
