EXECUTIVE – PLANNING
📍 Location: Katunayake
A leading apparel manufacturing organization is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Planning to join its Planning team.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production and Operations teams to achieve delivery commitments.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential risks or delays, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Track daily production performance and provide regular shipment and planning updates.
• Monitor production plan deviations and recommend recovery actions to minimize delivery risks.
• Analyze production efficiencies, including SMV and cost variances, and highlight operational impacts.
• Conduct weekly production and shipment review meetings with factories to ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
  Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Production Planning within a large-scale apparel manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of production planning, order management and shipment coordination.
• Experience working with ERP/Fast React Planning Systems or similar planning software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
