ASSISTANT MANAGER – SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT
📍 Location: Uva Province
A leading FMCG manufacturing organization is seeking a proactive, safety-driven and results-oriented professional to lead its Safety, Health & Environment function while fostering a strong culture of compliance, operational excellence and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Safety, Health & Environment activities across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational safety regulations, environmental standards and company SHE policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety awareness programs, inductions, and training initiatives to promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor workplace hazards and implement preventive measures to minimize accidents and occupational risks.
  Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment, preferably within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan occupational safety regulations, environmental compliance and ISO management systems.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and SHE audits.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
