VACANCY FOR THE POST OF ENGINEERING MANAGER–HVAC/MEP

Role Purpose

To lead technical design, turnkey project execution, and maintenance lifecycles for large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC and MEP systems.

Core Job Scope • Technical Design: Oversee heat load calculations, equipment selection, and design of complex HVAC (Chillers, VRF, AHUs) and integrated MEP systems. • Project Delivery: Direct design-and-build turnkey contracts from structural drafting to testing and final commissioning. • Operations & AMC: Manage site operations, equipment installation, and long-term Annual Maintenance Contracts. • Compliance & Leadership: Maintain ISO 9001-2015 and CIDA EM 1 quality standards while managing a multi-disciplinary team of site engineers and technicians.

Ideal Candidate Profile • Education: B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. • Professional Status: Chartered Engineer (IESL) status is highly preferred. • Experience: 8–10 years in the MEP sector, with 3–5 years specifically leading commercial/industrial HVAC projects. • Key Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Carrier HAP; deep knowledge of central air conditioning, ventilation, and BMS.

Target Compensation • Salary: LKR 200,000 + gross per month (negotiable based on expertise). • Perks: Corporate allowances, transport/communication benefits, and performance-linked bonuses.
