Position: Quantity Surveyor
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or NVQ Level 5 in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry.
- Experience in MEP, water treatment, swimming pool, or infrastructure projects will be an
- added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation.
- Evaluate quotations, prepare tender analyses, and assist in procurement activities.
- Measure work completed and prepare interim valuations and payment certificates.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations to ensure cost control.
- Prepare and evaluate subcontract agreements and payment recommendations.
- Manage project claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure
- timely project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project cost records and prepare financial progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, construction contracts, and cost
- management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
