Position: Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or NVQ Level 5 in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Experience in MEP, water treatment, swimming pool, or infrastructure projects will be an
• added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation.
• Evaluate quotations, prepare tender analyses, and assist in procurement activities.
• Measure work completed and prepare interim valuations and payment certificates.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations to ensure cost control.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontract agreements and payment recommendations.
• Manage project claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure
• timely project delivery.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and prepare financial progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, construction contracts, and cost
• management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
